People look at Sagarmatha, the tallest mountain on Earth, and see only its towering peak. They forget that no one reaches the top in a single leap. Every summit is conquered one careful step at a time, through patience, preparation, and courage. I believe learning is exactly the same.
As students, we sometimes feel our goals are too far away — a difficult subject, a big examination, a distant dream. But just as a climber does not stare at the peak and give up, we must not be discouraged by how much there is to learn. We simply take the next step: one chapter, one lesson, one honest day of effort.
Living and studying together in our residential college has taught me that discipline and routine are like a climber's rope and footholds. They keep us steady when the path grows hard. The early-morning study, the evening prep, the encouragement of teachers and friends — all of it carries us a little higher.
So to every friend reading this, I say: there is a mountain in each of us. Keep climbing, keep believing, and one day you will look down from a height you once only dreamed of.
